🏩 Diverse Stays for an All-Inclusive Japanese Experience
Japan
Embarking on a journey through Japan involves not only exploring its rich culture but also choosing the right places to stay. Let's dive into my diverse experiences in Tokyo, Takayama, and Kyoto, including a unique night in a capsule hotel.
KOKO Hotel Ginza
📍Tokyo, Ginza
In Tokyo, I stayed at KOKO Hotel in the upscale GINZA district. The hotel offered excellent value for money. The pros: fantastic location in the luxurious GINZA neighborhood, known for exclusive brands and immaculate cleanliness. The reception area provided a variety of complimentary items, from toiletries to hair accessories—conveniently available for self-service. The downside: the room was relatively small for two people, making it a bit cramped.

Ryokan Oyado Koto No Yume
📍Takayama
Takayama hosted us at Ryokan Oyado Koto No Yume. The room, especially the upgraded category, was spacious. The onsen (hot spring) was a delightful experience. They even provided kimonos for chilly nights, allowing us to wear them outside the ryokan. The highlight was the magnificent Japanese breakfast, a traditional and fulfilling spread.

Piece Hostel Sanjo
📍Kyoto, Sanjo
In Kyoto, Piece Hostel Sanjo offered a modern twist. I loved this hostel, not just for its contemporary vibe but also for the excellent English-speaking staff. The exceptional location added to the overall positive experience. I would undoubtedly choose this hostel again on my next visit.

Nine hours Akasaka Sleep Lab Capsule
📍Tokyo, Akasaka
Saving the best for last, we ventured into the world of capsule hotels. Our choice was nine hours Akasaka Sleep Lab in vibrant Akasaka. The experience of sleeping in a capsule was fascinating. The location, though different from serene Ginza, was lively and close to the metro station. What stood out was the sleep experience, with cameras recording sleep patterns and providing a detailed report via email a few days later. The place was impeccably clean.

When it comes to breakfast, I recommend exploring local cafes over hotel options, unless staying in traditional places like ryokans. Also, don't bother packing an umbrella during the rainy season; most hotels provide stylish transparent ones for your convenience.
You're welcome! Enjoy your stay!! 🌟
