personal growth
In our constant pursuit of happiness, we often find ourselves planning future events or chasing ambitious goals, convinced that once achieved, we will be happy. However, what about the everyday moments? Do we take the time to appreciate the happiness that can be found in them?
Many people fall into the trap of thinking that happiness resides solely in life's major milestones: that dream vacation, buying a house, a career advancement. But the truth is that happiness is not a destination to reach but a state we can experience in every moment, if we learn to appreciate what we have.
It's easy to get lost in the whirlwind of modern life, filling our calendars with activities and commitments in a desperate attempt to stay busy and, therefore, happy. However, how often do we pause to ask ourselves if we are truly enjoying those moments? Or if we are simply rushing from one place to another, without savoring life?
True happiness is not found in the future but in the present. It's in those small moments that often go unnoticed: a conversation with a friend, the aroma of coffee in the morning, a walk in the sunshine. It's about learning to be present and mindful of each moment, recognizing the beauty in the everyday.
It's time to change our perception of happiness. It's not about accumulating material possessions or checking off boxes on a list of achievements, but about learning to appreciate the simple moments and finding joy in them. True happiness lies in fully living each day, each hour, each minute. So the next time you find yourself planning for the future, take a moment to look around and ask yourself: Am I happy right now? And if you're unsure of the answer, maybe it's time to make a change and start living differently.
Personally, this year I have committed to surrounding myself with people who resonate with me, seeking genuine connections that enrich my daily life. Additionally, I have decided to delve into the study of lunar phases and the energy they generate in our emotions, aiming to find a deeper balance with the universe around me.
One of the best decisions I've made this year is embarking on a neurolinguistic programming course, with the goal of improving my communication and relating more assertively with those around me.
I also plan to make trips and plans that fulfill me and align with my desires and needs, leaving behind social pressure and focusing on what truly impassions me and makes me feel fulfilled.
At the end of the day, happiness lies in living authentically, in harmony with ourselves and the world around us. It's about finding the balance between our personal aspirations and the demands of our environment, always remembering that true happiness lies in enjoying the journey, not just the destination.
Here and now is where the magic of life resides! β¨
